Heat Pump Definition

A heat pump is a machine or device that moves heat from one location (the 'source') at a lower temperature to another location (the 'sink' or 'heat sink') at a higher temperature using mechanical work or a high-temperature heat source. The difference between heat pumps and normal air conditioners is that heat pumps can be used to provide heating or cooling. Even though the heat pumps can heat, they still use the same basic refrigeration cycle to do this. In other words heat pumps can change which coil is the condenser and which the evaporator. This is normally achieved by a reversing valve. In cooler climates it is common to have heat pumps that are designed only to provide heating.

Common examples are food refrigerators and freezers, air conditioners, and reversible-cycle heat pumps for providing building space heating. In heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications, a heat pump normally refers to a vapor-compression refrigeration device that includes a reversing valve and optimized heat exchangers so that the direction of heat flow may be reversed. Most commonly, heat pumps draw heat from the air or from the ground.

Air Source Trinity Heat Pump

(I) Multi-function.
Hot water,heating,cooling.
(II) Description.
1) Trinity heat pump multi-functional,it can supply heating and cooling for house and hot water for shower.
2) Users need to install Fan coil (must run water in pipes,not freon) in room and Water tank in bathroom working together for a complete system.
3) Supplying cool or hot water for the fan coil we respectively call it cooling or heating and supplying bathing water we call it hot water.
(III) Five working modes for your choice(set up on LCD controller).
1) House cooling+Hot water.Supplying cool water for the fan coil and meanwhile hot water for shower (heat recovery process).
2) House heating+hot water.After hot water reaches the temperature you set up before,then heat pump begins to supply hot water for the fan coil.
3) House cooling mode.Only supplying cool water for the fan coil.
4) House heating mode.Only supplying hot water for the fan coil.
5) Hot water mode.Only supplying hot water for the shower.When cooling house,the indoor heat will be absorbed by the heat pump for heat recovery to provide hot water at last. At this moment,hot water seems get for free.
(IV) Housing material.
Metal spray coating or stainless steel.
(V) Suggestion.
If users need exclusive room heating,or hot water only,it is not a best choice for economy.
